I received a card yesterday and one today

Yesterday I got a nice card from Germany. I was there one time and remember how beautiful the houses and window decorations are.
Today I got a card from Canada. I've only been to Windsor, Canada.

I received two cards this week

One from Portugal and one from Finland

The card from Japan is of Mt Fugi and the card from Germany has a cute frog on it.

Beautiful trees and a picture of an endangered animal.

The card shows the resort island of Punta Del Moral. If only I was rich!

I received a card with a picture of a street in China. I'd love to take a walk on the street.

I received a card from Finland today with a beautiful bird on it. And a card from the Black Forest in Germany.

Four Cards in one day today!

I received 4 postcards today! That's a record for me. Very nice cards. Finland,Finland again,Taiwan and Ukraine.

I received a card from Shanghai, China Today

It's a card showing the appreciation of Chinese art. Very pretty. She said that she likes my name on the card. No one has ever told me that they liked my name. Funny, after all these years. But nice!

Very nice card from a 15 year old girl. So nice to know that young people are involved in good things these days!

I received the card on the Chinese New Year. Isn't that something? The picture is of the Bailun Mountain and the Yuntai Grand Garden. Just beautiful.

It's from Rio De Janeiro. Problem is that the number on the card wasn't the correct number so I have to wait until Postcrossing sends me the correct number so I can register the card.

I'm corresponding with someone from Austria

Anita, from Austria, received the card that I sent to her. I sent her a note and my email address. So we've been corresponding through email. It's so interesting to read what movies and TV shows that she likes. And about her country. Since my grandparent's were from Hungary and Hungary is right next door to Austria, it's interesting to see if there are any similarities. I love this Postcrossing! So glad that I found it.

I sent wedding congratulations!

By request, I sent a card to a couple that is getting married in May. So I sent a card to the couple. I also sent a card to the lady that was supposed to get a card originally. I got a note from her today that she is very happy with the card that she received for them. What a cute and quaint idea. She is very good to her sister.

It has a picture of an ice castle that has a hotel made of snow! Wow! That must be something to see. I wonder how they stay warm in the hotel!

Teacher in Germany uses cards received

A teacher who teaches languages received my card. Actually the first card because I sent two cards to her. She uses the cards to help in her teaching. They translate the message into the language that they are learning and then discuss what is written in the message. The card that I sent with the Dallas skyline tells about the Kennedy assasination. She also has a blog so I'm going to check it out.

I got a real nice card. It is an Olympic card! Beautiful. It was sent from Wu Hong Yan. She lives in Beijing with her husband and 4 year old daughter.

Oh My gosh! I got a card from Hungary today. My grandma and grandpa were from Hungary, right outside of Budapest! I was thrilled to get a card from there!

I received a card from Verdal, Finland!

I received a very nice card showing the town of Verdal Finland. What a peaceful place it must be. Her description was so nice. I don't think you can read the card but you can see how much she got into one card!

I received my second card in the mail today. It came from Nel in the Netherlands. Here is a copy of that card! I love this hobby!

Got my card in the United Kingdom!

I received a note on August 27 that my card was received in the UK.

He said: I have been to the US, was in LA a few years back and last year went to NYC for a week. Gotta get over to Texas some time and see a bit more of the US - preferably on the back of a motorbike!

I got a note from CinnamonGirl from Finland on September 9 who got my postcard. The card has a recipe for Texas Chili. She's going to try make the recipe. I sure hope she likes it.

My first post card received
